Larry L. "Spunky" Guffey Jr., 44, of Enid, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008. A private family service will be held at a later date. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are through Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Larry was born Aug. 13, 1963 in Canadian, TX to Larry and Beverly (Boyington) Guffey.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Weber; mother, Beverly Carroll and stepfather Carl; father and stepmother Pat; six siblings, Lonny Divis of Enid, Don Divis and wife Pam of New Jersey, Laura Stage of Enid, Latisha Avsec and husband Dan of Dallas, Billy Carroll of Enid, Geanne Bell and husband Mark of Enid; three sons, Joshua, Jason and Jeremy Guffey of Washington State; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Larry was known as Pop-Pop to three special little boys, Daniel, Danny and Joseph. He will also be missed by his special friend, Susan Yates of Enid. The family loves and misses him dearly.
