Allen Eugene (Gene) Couch of Madisonville, passed away at 3:16 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center. He was former owner of Three Point Market. He was a veteran of World War II. He was 76. Preceded in death by: granddaughter, Kimberly Couch; parents, Luther and Minnie Couch; sister, Stella Robinson; brothers, Virgil, Clarence and Willard. Survivors include: wife-Reba Rickman Couch; Daughters and sons-in-law-Gail and Toney Strickland of Sweetwater; Teresa and Gerald Lewis of Madisonville; Linda and Ken Watters of Charleston, S.C.; Brenda Couch and spouse, Calvin of South Pittsburgh; Son and daughter-in-law-Gary and Alice Couch of Madisonville; Twelve grandchildren; Eleven great-grandchildren; Sisters-Christine McKee and Ruby Millsaps of Madisonville; Louella Frank of Vonore; Sonda Stamey of Pensacola, Fla.; Brothers-Jim and Leon Couch of Madisonville; Charles Couch of Loudon; Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 8 p.m., Friday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with the Rev. John Kiser and Rev. Lester Gunn officiating.
