Elizabeth (Muttie) Tschannen arrived in the United States on Jan 23 1885 from Switzerland after a departure from Le Havre, France aboard the SS French, a ship in the Normandie line. She was accompanied by three children and arrived at the Port of New York to reunite with her husband. During her marriage she had 8 children:
