DEATH OF NOAH CAMERON. Well Known Old Settler Succumbed to Heart Affliction. Noah Cameron, about 80 years old, died of a heart affliction at an early hour this morning at his home, 806 New Hampshire street. He is survived by two sons, Mr. Hubert Cameron of this city, and Mr. Allen Cameron, who has been in China several years on missionary work. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the undertaking rooms of Lescher and Power, Rev. J. P. (oilman, a retired Baptist minister. officiating. Interment w ill be made in the Cameron lot in Oak Hill cemetery. Noah Cameron was one of the early settlers of this city. He was the "publisher of a religious periodical, "His Steps." and the proprietor of the Co-Operative Store on east Henry street. [The Daily Gazette; Lawrence, Kansas; 18 Jan 1911]
