Dates are approximate. Eunice died very young and was likely William and Catharine's last child. She was born and died around 1849, perhaps a bit earlier, as she is not in the 1850 census. She may have been born in 1846 or 1847, between Francis D. Jones and Frances A. Jones, but I believe she died as a baby. I would guess that Billy and Catharine named their daughter Eunice after Eunice Cutler, the long-time Jones nanny/servant. Her middle name might even be Cutler.

Inscription

Even though the book has "Dau W&C" there is no inscription. Her stone says, simply, "Eunice."
