Mrs. Sharon K. Newcomb, 36, died Monday (December 24, 1973) in a Madison Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born in Shawano, Wisconsin, May 19, 1937.
She was a practical nurse for several years and also worked at Sun Prairie Westphal's store before her illness. The Newcombs were former residents at 400 S. Bird St., Sun Prairie.
Survivors include her husband, James; a son, John, Wittenberg, Wis.; Step-father, Jack Nachtwey, Shawano; half-sister, Mrs. Dave Crum, Minneapolis, Minn.; and grandmother, Mrs. Mary Fieldgrove, Shawano.
She was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sun Prairie.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 26, at 11:30 a.m. in the Tuschen Funeral Home with the Rev. A.D. Laper officiating.
Burial was in the Sun Prairie Memory Garden Cemetery.
