Bonnie Mae (Cash) Miller, 87, widow of Elbert Lewis Miller, of 439 Chestnut Ridge Road, Staunton, died Saturday evening, August 9, 2008 in the Augusta Medical Center, Fishersville.

She was born on May 11, 1921, in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Adolphus Wade and Sophie Mae (Thompson) Cash.

Mrs. Miller was employed by American Safety Razor Company prior to retiring. She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church.

Her husband preceded her in death on February 9, 1990.

Family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Elbert L. "Sonny," Jr.,and Roslyan Miller, of Staunton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie Belle and Charles Armstrong of Headwaters and Faye M. and Ernest Ambler of Stuarts Draft; a brother and sister-in-law, Arthur B. and Betty Cash of Staunton; a sister, Phyllis Saunders of Camden, SC; a foster brother and sister-in-law, Junior and Elizabeth Lilly of Staunton; eight grandchildren, Jill Lightner, Cole Armstrong, Ernie, Jeff, and Jeremy Ambler, Amy Huffer, Ryan and Megan Miller; a number of great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2008 in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery by the Revs. Joel P. Thornton. and Clifford D. Caldwell.

Active pallbearers will be her son-Sonny Miller, and her grandsons.
