LUFKIN, Texas, March 19. — Crawford Carlin, 21, awaiting induction into the Army, was killed instantly when his automobile overturned several times on Highway 94, six miles west of here Thursday.
Carlin had recently passed his physical examinations and was awaiting induction, according to the local draft board.
Only other occupant of the car, Wilbur Lovelady of Lufkin, sustained minor cuts and bruises.
Funeral services for Carlin will be held here Friday.
