2nd Lt. and Pilot of B-26. Entire crew of 5 were killed near Meziere, France when their plane crashed into a hillside while on a mission.

The other young soldiers who perished were Thomas Kelley, Wilmer Lumley, Salvatore Tornabene, and John Wojs.
