MISS GOLDIE WERNER PASSES AWAY; FUNERAL THURSDAY

One of Amherst's best known woman, Miss Goldie Werner, aged 23, was taken by death Sunday evening at 11 o'clock, death resulting from pleuro-pneumonia, following an attack of influenza.
She had lived in Amherst all her life, and was loved bor her optimism and cheerful disposition. She was a prominent worker in Evangelical (Stone) church circles, and was a member of the Y. P. A. of that church. She had been employed for the last few years as bookkeeper at the Mischka meat market.
Survivnig are her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Werner, a sister, Mrs. Adam Northeim, and a brother, Floyd Werner.
Funeral services were set for Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home on West Martin avenue, with Rev. M. Neumeister conducting the services. Interment will be in the Cleveland avenue cemetery.
