W. M. Shaw, Sr. Rites Monday
W. M. Shaw, Sr., 83, retired farmer, native of Missouri, died in the Twilight Home Saturday afternoon.
Funeral services were held from the Corley Chapel Monday at 2 p.m. with burial in the Black Hills cemetery.
The rites were conducted by Rev. Riley E. Dale, pastor of the Missionary Baptist church, and Claude B. Holcomb, pastor of the Fifth Avenue Church of Christ.
Surviving are a son, W. M. Shaw, Jr., Corsicana; two daughters, Mrs. Opal Pike, Corsicana, and Mrs. Gladys Beeman, Tyler; G. W. Shaw, Wilson, Okla.; and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Fred Bunch, Bill Watkins, Owen Beeman, J. C. Johnson, J. L. Young, and A. B. Tanner.
