LeRoy had a heart of gold. He was one of nature's noblemen in its truest sense -- brave, generous, manly. He was the soul of honor, and his friends and friendships were sacred to him. There was a daily beauty about his life which won every heart. In temperament he was mild, conciliatory and candid; and yet remarkable for an uncompromising firmness. He gained confidence when he least seemed to seek it. He believed that "Men and Women, youth and children, seek the friendship of the sunny-faced." That "All doors open to those who smile." That "All social circles welcome cheerness." That "A sunny face is the open sesame to hearts and home."
LeRoy and Anna were the parents of Clyde, Frank, & Mae Leebens. A son, Edgar, preceded both LeRoy & Anna in death.
Funeral services were held from the Presbyterian Church on Sunday, Rev. Paul Paulson officiating.
