Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Russell and Hitch funeral home in Lebanon for Mrs. Opal B. Neal, 54, who died at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon on Saturday. The Rev. Ira Stock, of Danville, officiated. Mrs. Neal had been ill for four months. She was a former Tipton county resident and had lived in Indiana most of her life. She was born on Oct. 17, 1902, to Jesse D. and Carrie (Couden) Bishop.

She was first married to Louis Mozingo on Aug. 19, 1921. He died in December 1928. The former Miss Bishop later married George Neal on May 29, 1936, at Charlottesville. Mrs. Neal was graduated from Butler University in 1951 and was a schoolteacher for 19 years. She was a member of the Kempton Christian church, the National Education Association, and the Indiana Classroom Teachers association.

Surviving besides her husband are her father, four children, including Louis Mozingo, Mrs. Lou Ann Anderson, YN-C Malcolm Mozingo of Alexandria. Va., and Richard K. Neal of Lebanon. Additionally, she had three step-children, Robert Neal of Brownsburg, Mrs. Marjory Spidel, of Lebanon, and William Neal of Connersville.
