Leonard Henry was born June 12, 1926, in Rock Island, IL, son of Leon and Emma Regelbrugge Henry. He married Eleanor Lindholme on Jan. 25, 1947, in Rock Island, IL. Together they had two daughters; Cherie and Dawn and three sons; John, Jim and Tony.

He was employed as a steamfiller for 37 years, working out of the Plumbers and Pipefillers Union No. 25, Rock Island, IL. He was a member of the union and the B.A.B. Club, Rock Island.

He served in the Navy for 2 1/2 years and a veteran of World War II spending 1 1/2 years in the European and Pacific areas.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, three sons and seven grandchildren.
