Carolyn Patnode, 85, a retired licensed practical nurse, of West. Swanzey, N.H., died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, in Madison. A family memorial service is planned for in Ocala. Beggs Funeral Home Madison Chapel (973-2258) is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308. She is survived by her children, Connie Bennett and Beverly Flynn, both of Madison, Bruce Patnode of Ocala and Chuck and Paula Patnode, both of Tallahassee; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Norman Patnode.
