He is survived by his wife, Frances of Henderson; sons, Robert of Washington, Utah, Bruce of Las Vegas, and Claude and Michael, both of Cedar City, Utah; daughters, Wilma Anderson of Great Falls, Mont., Pat Swanson of Overton, and Kathy Danise, Gloria Gifford and Wendy Frehner, all of Henderson; sister, Viola Bauer; and brother, Morg, both of Cedar City; 45 grandchildren; and 57 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary-Henderson and one hour prior to services at 11 a.m. Friday in the Desert Rose chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Edgar J. Slack, 85, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 24, 1912, in Toquerville, Utah. A resident since 1963, he worked as a plumber with the Clark County School District.
