Doris Mae Pleasanton Age 72. Of Peachtree Run, Magnolia, DE. Died Wednesday, May 26 at Bay Health Milford Memorial Hospital.
Doris was born January 29, 1927 to Russell and Louise (Ferguson) Dean. She married Harold R. Pleasanton and worked for Paddick in Smyrna for 18 years, retiring in 1994. Mrs. Pleasanton loved her home and small farm where she and her husband raised cattle and assorted poultry. She enjoyed playing poker and was a huge fan of Willie Nelson.
Service: 2:30 pm Tuesday at TRADER FUNERAL HOME, Dover. Visitation: 1 hour prior. Burial: Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Harold Pleasanton of Magnolia; daughter, Kathryn Burnett of Harrington; step-daughter, Yvonne Pleasanton of Harrington; step-mother, Susan Dean of Dover; sisters and sons-in-law, Jacqueline and George Kaercher of Bowers Beach, Shirley and Dallas Biddle of Dover; sister, Beverly Dean of Dover; grandson, Dustin Burrnett of Harrington; special companion, Kasey of Magnolia; nephews, nieces, and friends.
