Mary K. 'Casey' Buchanan
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in St. James Catholic Church in McMinnville for Mary K. "Casey" Buchanan, who died Oct. 4 of cancer at age 50.
Mrs. Buchanan was born May 20, 1949, in McMinnville. Her maiden name was Courtney. She graduated from McMinnville High School and attended Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing in Eugene. She was a nurse's aide at Doernbecher Children's Hospital for a couple of years and then was a homemaker. She lived in Spain, France and Belgium, then returned to Portland in the late 1970s and moved to McMinnville in about 1981. She was a member of the church.
Survivors include her son, Courtney of McMinnville; parents, Clarence and Sylvia Lindberg of McMinnville; brother, Peter Lindberg of McMinnville; and sister, Colleen O'Halloran of The Dalles.
Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to Hospice of Yamhill County. Arrangements are by Macy & Son Funeral Directors.
