Ryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Lois Ward, paternal grandpa: Ernest Lewis, paternal great grandparents: Glen & Vera Lewis, uncle: Douglas Ward, and great uncle: James Frazier.
Ryan was employed at Walmart, was enlisted in the US Army, and scheduled to report for basic training on August 20, 2008. He graduated mid term on January 11, 2008 from Hannibal High School. Ryan liked to write short stories, loved computers, enjoyed music, and exercising. He participated in the Gift of Life program by donating organ and tissue to those in need. Ryan attended Clover Road Christian Church.
Services were entrusted to James O'Donnell Funeral Home of Hannibal, Missouri.
