Mildred G. Seal Columbus
Mildred G. Seal, 84, of Columbus died Monday, June 23, 2008, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mrs. Seal was cofounder of Sport Center in Columbus. She was a member of First Baptist Church and loved cooking, which she learned as a young girl growing up on the farm.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street with the Rev. Dan Cash and Dr. William Griffi th officiating. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
In lieu of fl owers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Foundation or Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in North Webster March 12, 1924, Mrs. Seal was the daughter of Francis and Arvilla Leeper Truex. She married Clyde W. Seal in 1946 in Columbia City.
She is survived by sons, Steven (Susan Eggersman) Seal of Westfield and Dave (Jane Taylor) Seal of Columbus; a daughter, Karen (Roger) Sauerhagen of Colorado Springs, Colo.; brothers, Wayne (Arlene) Truex of Columbus and Royce (Sandy) Truex of Kentfield, Calif., Bill (Ann) Truex of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Lowell (Dorothy) Truex of Pensacola, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dec. 26, 2006; two brothers; and one sister.
