Daughter of Clarence Knight Norwood and Amanda Alyce Cavender. Aletha, or MoMo, as she was know affectionately by her family was the Matriarch of the family, loved by all that knew her. I have very fond memories of her as she would come visit us on the farm, or when we were able to come to Duncanville to see her. She was married to Delwin Fields Hopper and they had 6 children. Sadly she was preceded in death by her husband and three sons, Delwin "June", David and Donley. She is survived by her three daughters, Helen, Mary Alice and Joyce Jean, and a large family of grand children, nieces and nephew throughout the United States.
