Guy Byron Bell, 87, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at a local care center.
Graveside service: 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Byron was born Feb. 24, 1921, in Fort Worth to Virgie and Guy Bell. He was a World War II Veteran in the U.S. Army. He was the owner of City Dust Mop Service for 30 years. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite and past master of Tarrant Lodge #942.
The family would like to thank all the nurses at the Vitas Hospice unit for their care. You are our angels.
Byron was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Grace Bell.
Survivors: Son, Curtis Bell and wife, Donna; daughter, Beverly Sipes and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Malinda Ledbetter and husband, Steve, Byron Mathis and wife, Stacie, and Kelly Mitchell and partner, Woody; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
