Lyndell Whitey, 32, of Farmington, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, in Farmington. He was born May 30, 1976, in Shiprock to Larry and Elsie Whitey.
Lyndell loved golf, baseball, photography, and watching sports. He belonged to Carson Faith Assembly.
Lyndell was preceded in death by his dad, Larry Whitey Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Elsie Whitey-Bekes; stepfather, Wilson Bekes; siblings, Lorenzo Whitey, Ethelinda (Mike) Corley and Larry (Lorelei) Whitey Jr. Lyndell is also survived by a niece, Keona Whitey, and by a nephew, Diego Corley, both of whom he loved dearly.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Carson Faith Assembly, in Carson.
Pallbearers are Reggie Jackson, Julius Padilla, Titus Howard, Nathaniel Howard, Mike Benally and Wilson Jim.
A reception will be at Minnie Hemstreet's residence
