Jacob Wilhelm Woelfle was born in Wuertemburg, Germany and arrived in this country in the 1850's. He came to New York and then to Cleveland. He was a brick mason and when he earned enough money he sent for his sweetheart in Baden-Baden, Germany, Christiana (Hess??). They were married and lived at 48 Mechanic St. Jacob served in the Civil War and is buried in the Military Plot.∼PVT CO H
