"The Descendents of Cornet Robert Stetson, Vol 1-3, pgs 41-42:
"Samuel Stetson, son of John and Rachael (Paine) Stetson, b. Aug 12, 1767 at Randolph; d. Jly 21, 1804 at Watertown. He m. Catherine Taft, dau of Rev. Moses Taft of Randolph on June 16, 1788. They resided at Watertown, Randolph and Boston.
Samuel was in the boot and shoe business with his brother.
Samuel's death occurred while the funeral of his wife, Catherine was being held.

3) Irene
4) Hiram, b @ 1800 (lost at sea in 1819 at age 19)
5) Mary D, b. Nov 14, 1802
