Henry Sherman Davis 75, long time South Madison County resident of the Combs Community died at the Turner Memorial Hospital, Ozark, March 1 after five days stay there.

Mr. Davis was born May 22, 1879 at Huntsville, the son of Wiley Davis and Mary Martin Davis. He had been a member of the Church of Christ for 55 years.

Mr. Davis is survived by four sons, Otto Davis, Clyde Davis and Loy Davis all of Combs; and Alber Davis of Russellville, three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Prater of Clipper Mills, California, Mrs. Stella Brown of Barling, Arkansas and Mrs. Mary Baker of Los Angeles, California; one sister Mrs. Ida Gabbard of Mulberry; 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at St. Paul today conducted by Dotson Davis of Fayetteville and Ralph Gage of Fort Smith. Burial will be in the Brashears Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home
