Robert Eugene "Scooter", of Village Mills passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A lifelong resident of Village Mills, he was a welder with CB&I and also a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include his father, Robert Ard, Sr. and wife Marie; mother, Cindy DeMars and husband Jerry; grandmother, Sue Gray and husband Leon; brother, Rickey Ambrose, II and wife Sherrie; sister, Jennifer Jones and husband Chris and Jennifer Marie Ard; nephews, Jacob and R.J., nieces, Skyler, Aubrey, and Emily; cousins; and a host of many, many friends.
