SPRINGFIELD – The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November 26, at Major Funeral Home in Springfield for Larry Charles Koch of Springfield who died Nov. 16 of multiple strokes at age 68.
After the service, burial will be in Springfield Memorial Gardens, with potluck to follow et the Springfield Chamber of Commerce. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.Friday at the funeral home.
He was born May 26, 1939, in Eugene to Floyd and Josephine Lanning Koch. He married Edith Clements on March 23, 1963, in Dayton.
Koch graduated from Springfield High School. He was an iron worker for Young's Ironworks and a custodian for the Springfield School District.
Survivors include two sons, Michael of McMinnville and Patrick of Springfield; a daughter, Susan Misemer of Salem; five brothers, Darrel Koch of dexter, LeRoy Koch of Ardmore, Okla., Ermol Koch of Brunswick, Ga., and Leslie Snyder and Richard Snyder both of Springfield; three sisters, Delores Walker of Springfield, Minnie Koch of Yuma, Ariz., and Elizabeth Cave of Bend; and three grandchildren. His wife died Feb. 16, 1995.
