Robert Cockerham was taken seriously ill last week, but is reported some better at this writing.

Walter Hanners and family of Sparksville were called here by the serious illness of Mrs. Hanners' father, Robert Cockerham.

Sherman Cockerham and wife of Seymour were called here Friday by the serious illness of the former's brother, Robert Cockerham.

Obituary
Robert L. Cockerham passed away at this place February 7, 1923, aged fifty-one years. He was sick only, about four days. He was an honest and up-right citizen, and was liked by all who knew him.
He leaves a wife, nine children, three brothers and one sister.
The funeral services were held at his late home Thursday, afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. Jesse Nichols of the Brownstown Pentecost church, officiating.
Burial in the Wayman Cemetery.

Robert Cockerham died at his home here Wednesday, February 7, 1923, after a few days' sickness at the age of 54 years.
He leaves a wife and nine children to mourn his departure.
The funeral services were conducted Thursday at the residence by Rev. Jesse Nichols of Brownstown, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Wayman Cemetery.
In his death the wife lost a good husband and the children a loving father whose place cannot be filled in this life and the neighborhood a valuable friend.
The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of, this entire community their sad hour of grief.
