"Mrs. W.C.Harlan, Lifelong Local Resident, Passes.
Mrs. Elva Harris Harlan, wife of William C[hristian] Harlan and a resident of Santa Rosa during her entire 63 years, died yesterday at her home in Barham avenue, following an illness of several weeks.
Mrs. Harlan was the mother of Grace Harlan of Santa Rosa and Joseph Harlan of Corte Madera, and a daughter of Mrs. Martha Harris. A sister, Mrs. Etta Cooney, and a brother, William Harris, both of Santa Rosa, also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon in the Welti chapel. The Rev. O. V. Wilkison will officiate and interment will follow in Rural cemetery."
