Revolutionary War Spy.

Lydia Darragh was born in Ireland and immagrated to America about 1765. During the American Revolution the British quaranteend her house and held a meeting of which she listened in. She informed the American authorites at Whitemarsh and saved George Washington's Amry from being destroyed. She never made the story public and her daughter told people about her heroism after her death.
