Revolutionary War Spy.

Lydia Darragh was born in Ireland and immigrated to America about 1765. During the American Revolution the British quarantined her house and held a meeting of which she listened in. She informed the American authorities at Whitemarsh and saved George Washington's Army from being destroyed. She never made the story public and her daughter told people about her heroism after her death.
