Cleo P. Scott, 86, of Madison, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at Scottsburg Healthcare in Scottsburg.
She was born Feb. 14, 1922, in Winchester, Ky., the daughter of George and Nettie May Stevens McEntire. She retired as an attendant from the Madison State Hospital after several years. She was also a homemaker and a member of Brooksburg Wesleyan Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Scott, who died Nov. 1, 1989; her parents; one sister, Minnie Beach; and three brothers, Jim, Dick and Joe McEntire.
The funeral was at Vail-Holt Funeral Homes Hilltop Chapel. Burial was in Brooksburg Cemetery.
