William Samuel Hawkins was a well known dairyman and farmer of Young County, Texas. He was a longtime member of Loving Methodist Church. His parents were pioneer settlers of Young County, Texas.
He and his wife married at Wichita Falls, Texas.
Survived by his wife; one daughter - Mrs. Joe Garvey; one son - Lindsey Hawkins; two brothers - M.B. Hawkins and Lloyd Hawkins; three sisters - Mrs. Lee Conley, Mrs. Ersel Tinsley, Mrs. Minnie Boydston.
