Velma M. Frost, 80, a longtime Wenatchee Valley resident, died Friday evening, Jan. 16, 1998, near East Wenatchee as the result of an automobile accident.
She was born on Oct. 24, 1917, to Giles and Ethel (Ervin) Shrewsbury at Snohomish, where she was raised and attended school. She moved to Wenatchee during the mid-1960s.
On Nov. 23, 1968, she married Billy F. Frost at Ephrata. They made their home in Wenatchee until moving to East Wenatchee in 1991.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Hamilton of San Bernardino, Calif.; her brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Marlene Shrewsbury, Wenatchee; her cousin, Bill Ervin and companion Rose Fincher of East Wenatchee; and numerous nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
