Carlos Grant Stevens was known as Grant. He is the fourth child of twelve children born to Oliver Carlos Stevens and Martha Lang.

He was married first to Marylin Matheson on September 10, 1943 and they had two daughters, Schnet and Linda Stevens. Grant and Marylin were divorced and he married second to Betty Jean Conger on July 28, 1952 in Kingman, Arizona and they had four children: Leslie Anne, Marc Grant, Debra Jill and Jeffery Kim Stevens.

Grant died of pancreatic cancer and a blood clot in his leg.

Born Jan. 4, 1923 to Oliver Carlos and Martha Lang Stevens. Married Betty Jean Conger July 28, 1952 in Kingman, AZ, later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple.

Survived by his wife; three daughters; two sons; three sisters; five brothers; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by one daughter.

Services Sat., Nov. 28, 1998 in the Manti LDS
Stake Center, where friends may call from 10:30
to 11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment in the
Manti City Cemetery
