Obit: Gregory Elroy Jacobs, 53, Frankfort, passed away July 5, 2008, in his residence.

Mr. Jacobs graduated from Frankfort High School in 1972. He worked for Alcoa for 10 years and spent most of his life working in the construction trade.

He was born October 13, 1954, in Frankfort, Indiana, to Thurl E. and Martha Snodgrass Jacobs. He married Dayna Gayle Baker on May 26, 1973, and she preceded him in death on February 1, 1979.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Martha and George Northrop of Frankfort; two sons, Gregory Jacobs II of Frankfort and Jeremy Jacobs of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; three brothers, Marcus (Joyce) Jacobs of Frankfort, Stephen (Denise) Jacobs of Sarasota, Florida, and Glenn (Melissa) Jacobs of Frankfort; three sisters, Nena (Najib) Hakmati of Burke, Virginia, Teresa (Ernie) Lewis of Brenham, Texas and Madonna (David) Stein of Sarasota, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thurl Jacobs.
