Funeral services for Lena Louise Nelson will be held at 2pm Sunday, September 23, 2012 in the chapel of Griffin Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Woodworth Cemetery, in Woodworth. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 5-8 pm at Griffin Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nelson, age 82, of Pollock, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

She was preceeded in death by her husband George A. Nelson Sr, and son Joseph Allen Nelson.

She is survived by daughters; Trudy Nelson, of Marksville and Janice Likens (Mark) of Pollock, and Nancy Nelson (Michael Mansfield) of Billings, Montana. Son; George A Nelson Jr. (Joni) of Sedro-woolley, Washington a and sister; Irene Aycock of Olla; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers honored to serve are; Sheridan Nelson, Mark Likens, George A. Nelson, Jr., William Gibson, Walter Briggs, and PJ Davidson. Honorary pallbearer Trudy Nelson.
