Leona Bouchard, 87, widow of George Bouchard, Sr died March 20, 1981 at a Mars Hill hospital following a long illness, She was born December 23, 1893 at Presque Isle, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Dionne) Moreau. Mrs Bouchard was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella and St Mary's Altar Society. She is survived by four sons, Rev Mr J Louis Bouchard of Alva, OK, George, Alfred and Adrian Bouchard, all of Presque Isle; one daughter, Mrs John (Elizabeth) Fritz of Grand Forks ND; one brother Almon Moreau of Albany, NY; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. There will be no visiting hours. The family has requested that friends remember Mrs Bouchard with Mass cards, rather than flowers or donations. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St Mary's Catholic Church, 10 am Monday with the Rev Claude Albert officiating. Spring burial will be in North Main Street Catholic Cemetery.
