He was born in Ronceverte, WV to Ronnie and Carolyn Lawson on June 3, 1966. He attended elementary, middle and high school in Bloomfield, graduating from Bloomfield High School in 1984. Ryan entered the United States Air Force in 1984, serving four years and attained a certificate from Refrigerator Service Engineering School. He received an honorable discharge in 1988 after serving 2 years in Korea. He was employed with Gerber Scientific Co., in South Windsor from 1988-1992 as a generator engineer. He was later employed by Accessory Control Equipment Company in South Windsor from 1993-2000. His last employer was HO Penn Machinery Co. of Newington from 2001 to the present. In the summer of 1996, Ryan united with Tasheba Baker of Springfield, MA. They married June 17, 2000 and in this union Sade Ray-Nese Lawson was born June 16, 2001. Ryan loved his family and his children.
Besides his wife of eight years, Tasheba Lawson, he is survived by his daughters Emani Jo Vaughn Lawson (whose mother is Sophia Davis) and Sade Ray-Nese Lawson, two step daughters, Taquoria Mitchell and Tevinn Shaver, his father, Ronnie Lawson and mother, Carolyn Arrango, stepfather, William Arrango, brother Timothy V. Lawson, two brothers-in-law, Brian Baker and Earl Baker, mother-in-law Patricia Baker, step-mother Constance Lawson, many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 5 with the Funeral at 11 a.m., calling hour preceding the service at 10 a.m. at Faith Congregational Church, 230 Main Street, Hartford.
Burial at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, immediately following.
