OSCAR BROWN, 84, DIES AT HOSPITAL
Oscar Brown, 84, an employee of the E.A. Cowee Grain Co., died yesterday at Burbank Hospital after an illness of two weeks. He is survived by his wife, Six children, 46 grandchildren, and 37 great grandchildren. Mr. Brown was born in Canada and came to this city 36 years ago. He lived at 1072 Main Street. Two weeks ago he collapsed on his way to work and was taken to the hospital. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Louisa (Gorkey) Brown, three daughters, Mrs. Louise Duane of Worcester, Mrs. Louis Wedge of Brockton and Mrs. Joseph Buron of Leominster, three sons, Oscar of Spencer, Dolphus of Marlboro and Peter of this city.
The funeral will be Monday morning at 9:00 o'clock at the Sacred Heart Church with a solemn high mass of requiem. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

The funeral of Oscar Brown, 1072 River Street, who died Friday this morning from the Sacred Heart Church at 9 o'clock with a high mass of requiem. Rev Patrick Dowd D.D. officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Rev. Patrick Dowd read prayers at the grave, The bearers were Oscar Brown, Jr., George Wedge, Dolphus Brown and Alphonse Caouette.
The body will be taken to the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Wilfred White, 341 Water Street, by the John B. Aubuchon Co., undertakers.
