ASPERMONT (Special) - Services for Elvin "Windy" Jones, 82, of Aspermont will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church in Aspermont with the Rev. Charles Day officiating. The Rev. Barry Taylor will assist.
Burial will be in Aspermont Cemetery under direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont.
Jones died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, in an Aspermont nursing home.
He married Dee Iva Starritt in 1940. She died in 1978. He married Mary Allen in 1980. She died in 1996. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include three sons, Eddie and Tim, both of Aspermont and Ned of Seguin; two brothers, M.L. and Elmer, both of Aspermont; two sisters, Essie Driver of Aspermont and Mae Clark of Odessa; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
