BOBBY DEAN HOLLON

Bobby Dean Hollon, 54, of rural route 2, Milan, died Tuesday, October10,1989 of an apparent heart attack while working on his farm near Cora. The son of Roy and Nora Hunsaker Hollon, He was born April 28, 1935 in Sullivan County.

On July 30, 1955 in Milan, He married Katherine Smith who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Betty Dearing and her husband, Tom, of Milan, and Sarina McClure, and her husband, Mark of Chillicothe, one sister, Belva Allen, Milan, and two grandchildren; Celesse Dearing and Wyatt Pickering.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three grandchildren, Robbe Mae Brinkley, Tyson and Tyler Dearing; One sister, Vergie Bundridge; and seven brothers, Otis, Earl, Oscar, Elza, Verl, Floyd, and Clyde Hollon.

Dean had resided in Sullivan County all of his life where he was engaged in farming. He had driven a truck for Con Agra Foods until two years ago.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 13, 1989 at the Glen E. Kent & Son Funeral Chapel in Milan with Tom Worstell officiating.

Music was provided by Robert Darby, soloist, and Mary Susan Scott organist.

Burial was in the White Oak Cemetery, South of Milan. Casket bearerswere Bud Wyant, Ovid Sharp, Stanley Rardon, Roy Clark, Gilbert Hollon, and David Tharp.
