THE KLAMATH NEWS, KLAMATH FALLS, OREGON
OCTOBER 4,1938

Simon Peter Pilkington, for the last nine years a resident of this city, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lillian P. Morris, 1814 Johnson street, Saturday October 1, 1938 at 9 p.m. following an illness of three months. Mr Pilkington was born in London, England and at the time of death was aged 77 years, three months and two days. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Josephine D. Pilkinton of this city, three daughters, Mrs. Adella H. Dahlgren of Long Beach, Calf., Mrs. Lillian P. Morris of Klamath Falls, Mrs. Mae Alice Kelly of St. Louis, Missouri, two sons Marty Hoos of San Francisco, W. B. Pilkington of Ashland, 12 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 4th at 2:30 p.m. from the Chapel of Earl Whitlock Funeral Home, Pine avenue at Sixth, with a reader from the First Church of Christ Scientist officiating. Committment service and interment will be made in Linkville cemetery. Friends are invited to attend.
