John Francis Owens, 85, formerly of Atchison, died, November 30, 1955, at his home in Lincoln, NE.
He was born in Atchison, KS, on December 31, 1870. He lived here for 25 years, then moved to Lincoln, NE.
He married Gertrude Meier, November 18, 1903, at St. Patrick's Church, south of Atchison. She preceded him in death on June 6, 1926.
He is survived by his sons, J.F. Owens, Lincoln, NE; and Harold J. Owens, Long Beach, CA; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were held at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
