IRWIN TOWNE, LIFE RESIDENT, IS DEAD AFTER YEARS ILLNESS.
Irvin Towne, 63, a life long resident of this vicinity, died yesterday at his home on the North Ridge rd. Death, which followed a years illness with heart disease, came at about 5 pm.
Mr. Towne was born in Amherst and spent his entire life here. He is survived by the widow and three children. The children are; Mrs. William Ackerman, Ephraim, and Elmer Towne of Amherst. Funeral services are to be held at the late home at 2 pm Tuesday. Rev. R. G. Armstrong, pastor of the Amherst Congregational church will officiate. Burial will be made in the Cleveland st cemetery."
