"After a long illness, Mrs. Christina Shauver, 89, died at her home on N Main St Monday evening. She had been an invalid for the last 19 years.
> Mrs. Shauver was born in Wittenburg, Germany, and came to this country at an early age with her parents. Her husband died 34 years ago.
> Surviving are 3 daughters and a son; Miss Hattie and Henry at home, Mrs. Rose Fox of Lorain, and Mrs. Mary Huntoon of Detroit. 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive.
> Funeral rites were held today Thursday at 2pm from the late residence. Rev C. E. Schmidt officiated. Burial was in Cleveland cemetery."
