Dee Ray Gardner, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed peacefully on July 30, 2008. Born Jan. 6, 1931, in White Rocks, Utah to Ray L. Gardner and Urma Chapman Gardner. Married Sharon Llewelyn June 29, 1956. Solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 26, 1968.

Survived by wife, children Barry (Diane) Gardner, Raelynn (Stephen) Hansen, Brian Gardner, Kary (Ronda) Gardner, Dana (Liz) Gardner, Deanna (Mike) Buchanan, 21 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, siblings Elva (Opher) Evans, Leah (Bob) Hamatake, Karen Fonger, Glen (Jody) Gardner. Preceded in death by parents, one brother, one sister, one great granddaughter.

He retired from Dugway Proving Ground after 37 years. He served faithfully in the LDS Church. He is dearly loved and missed.

Viewing is Saturday, August 2, 2008, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by the services at the Rush Valley Ward (Church Street in Rush Valley). Interment Clover Cemetery.
