Max O. Mitchell, 79, died July 30, 2008 at his home in Marysvale, Utah.
Born February 9, 1929 in Magna, Utah to Vernal Roy and Violet Ada Ostler Mitchell. He married Carol Hardman, they later divorced. He then married Charleen Cropper on July 2, 1976 in Elko, Nevada. Max was a kind and loving man, an avid outdoorsman and friend to all.
Survivors include his wife, Charleen of Marysvale; children: Geraldine (Boose) Peterson; sister, Doreen Sadler; step-children: Robert J (Leala)Tyree; Helene Tyree; Spencer Vance (Virginia) Tyree; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; children, Stephanie Mitchell and Victor Max Mitchell; a brother, Raymond Mitchell.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the Valley View Memorial Park.
