Benjamin was the son of Edmund and Sarah (Towne) Bridges.

He was married to Elizabeth.

Benjamin settled at Salem End (then "reserved Commons") in the spring of 1693 along with those who left Salem following the Witch Trial hysteria. His tombstone is the earliest known grave of the Salem refugees in Framingham. (Framingham Town Historian - Steve Herring).
