Dies Thursday Night After Long Illness
Mrs. Rebecca Williams Succumbs; Funeral to be Held Sunday From Home
Mrs. Rebecca M. Williams, age 66, one of the well known residents of the Jollity community, died Thursday night at her home in Shelby county. Mrs. Williams had been confined to her bed since last Christmas and coming after a long period of critical illness her death from tuberculosis was not unexpected.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Guilford Williams, and five children, Mrs. Ed Henderson, Mrs. Frank Muck, Virgil Williams, Ralph Williams and Glenn Williams. One sister, Mrs. Harry Bradley and a brother, Albert Addleman also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Bengal M.P. church and the funeral will be conducted by the Rev. J. G. Smith of Edinburgh, former pastor at Bengal, assisted by the Rev. Ledbetter of Jollity.
Burial will be in the Second Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
